Russell Kamp

Mr. Kamp is the managing director and Senior Fixed Income Manager for Ryan ALM, where he is primarily responsible for sales, marketing, and client service. Mr. Kamp has 39 years of experience in the retirement industry. Prior to joining Ryan ALM, he was the managing partner for Kamp Consulting Solutions (KCS), a full-retainer asset and liability consulting firm focused on providing services to defined benefit and defined contribution plans, endowments, and foundations. Mr. Kamp is a passionate advocate for pension reform and legislative efforts in Washington, D.C., frequently writing and speaking on the subject. Prior to launching KCS, he was a senior vice president and director, asset management, for Two Sigma Investments, where he helped launch a long-only business. Before joining Two Sigma, Mr. Kamp was CEO of Invesco Quantitative Strategies Group (IQS). IQS was a quantitatively oriented equity, alternative and global macro investment group that managed more than $30 billion for institutional clients. He began his career as an analyst for Janney Montgomery Scott’s Investment Management Control division, an asset consulting firm that was later acquired by Evaluation Associates, Inc., where he became a senior vice president, senior consultant and partner, serving the defined benefit community.

Joe Griffin

Joe Griffin is a Senior Consulting Actuary with Foster & Foster, Inc.  Joe has 23 years of experience serving governmental retirement plans, including topics such as actuarial valuations, plan redesign studies, accounting under GASB standards, plan experience studies and assumption/method recommendations, actuarial audits, and forecast/budgeting.  Joe has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia State University with concentration in Actuarial Science.  He is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, an Enrolled Actuary under ERISA, and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.  Joe is a former president of the Atlanta Actuarial Club and is a frequent speaker at both national and regional conferences. Joe currently serves on the Education Committee for the Georgia Association of Public Pension Trustees and has been drafting model education sessions for the new education requirements in the State of Georgia.  He most recently spoke at conferences for the Georgia Association of Public Pension Trustees (GAPPT), Georgia Government Finance Officers Association (GGFOA), Florida Government Finance Officers Association (FGFOA), Florida Public Pension Trustees Association Conference (FPPTA), the Louisiana Trustee Educational Council Investment Education Symposium, and the South East Public Employee Retirement Systems Forum.

Sara Carlson

Sara Carlson joined Foster & Foster in 2011 and is currently a consulting actuary to over 60 governmental retirement plans in Florida. Sara’s experience includes topics such as actuarial valuations, plan redesign studies, accounting under GASB standards, statutory requirement disclosures, plan experience studies and assumption/method recommendations, actuarial audits, forecasting, and individual retirement benefit calculations. Sara has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Florida and a Master of Science in Mathematics from the University of North Florida. Sara is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, an Enrolled Actuary under ERISA, and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

Daniel Johnson

Partner, Consulting Director

Dan serves as Partner and Consulting Director and works alongside investment consultants to provide all aspects of the firm’s consulting services. He has served as the primary consultant for various institutional plans including defined benefit, defined contribution, and private foundation investment portfolios. Dan also has direct oversite responsibility for twelve consultants.

Dan has 16 years of institutional investment experience. Prior to joining AndCo, he worked at a national consulting firm where his responsibilities included preparing asset allocation models, conducting manager searches, producing performance reports, and developing investment policies for institutional clients. Dan is a speaker at various conferences including the Florida Public Pension Trustees Association (FPPTA), Georgia Association of Public Pension Trustees (GAPPT), and the Florida Department of Management Services Bureau of Local Retirement Systems Conference.

Kerry Richardville, CFA

Partner, Consultant

Kerry has 16 years of experience in the industry. Her primary responsibilities include providing investment consulting services for defined benefit retirement plans, defined contribution retirement plans, and foundations. Kerry is responsible for the oversight, delivery and management of investment consulting services to clients, including performance measurement and monitoring of investment managers, asset allocation and asset liability modeling studies and the development of investment policy statements.

Prior to joining AndCo, Kerry was the Director of Treasury at Viewpost North America. As part of the Senior Leadership team, she was responsible for formulating and implementing policies and procedures, onboarding partner banks and implementing ACH payments.  Prior to Viewpost North America, Kerry was a Treasury and Investments Manager for the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, a Financial Transactions Manager for AonHewitt and an Investment Manager for Citizens Property Insurance Corporation.
